Again back, ten days in Prague in April. I left England and it was snowing, arrived in Prague and stayed with Rob & Karolina. It was good, if short. A bit of a tease. I saw Eva Capkova a few times, which was really great for the drinks and jokes but where is she now? All the Czechs disappear on you in the end! Dan Freeland, Pavlina Jandlova, Toby Morgan, Nicki Rhodes, Andrew Parker, people were still there but of course things had moved on a lot by now, including me, and this was my last time there for a few years. I felt I'd done it pretty much.

Went to Srbsko though, which is a nice memory. Srbsko is an unlikely spot to get into but it's just fantastic once you're there. It's 40 minutes from Smichovske Nadrazi on the Beroun train, and once you're there it looks like nothing, but it's not nothing... it's something! There's the Vltava River for a start, and each side of it there are walks, trails, forestry, little cottages, camping, and pubs. Great, country pubs. You can't fail to get into it actually, once you're there and many is the time I have got hammered in these pubs.

1993 ~ 1994 ~ 1995 ~ 1997 ~ 2001 ~ my own photos of prague & the rest of the country ~ you've probably been there, everyone has, because we all love it and we keep coming back ~ why, because it has CLAWS baby
