What can I say? There's few nicer girls than Jeon Ji-Hyun. Everyone respects her 'cause right now (2003) she's so the "it girl". In My Sassy Girl she showed everyone how amazing girls can be in Korea, then went on to do Giordano Jeans adverts where she danced. She's wicked at dancing. What's so good about her dancing? It's funny & humble, yet mean & superior. And of course sexy. Anyway enough of what I think about her ~ who cares about that! Here's some photos of her I found here & there...I just think: how can anyone be this nice?
This is Jang Na-Ra, who was quite big in Korea when we went back there in 2002. You can't help but be taken by her, because she's not just gorgeous, but she's a mad eejit as well. She's managed by her dad, who's in the fame game himself, and he steers her through it all, getting her face everywhere, so by now she's no doubt loaded. So you can find her in the paper every day, all over the Internet, on TV advertising a lot of different products, in the music charts, on stickers, posters, and on telly acting, in dramas and comedies. She must be knackered! In fact, she clearly is knackered, but in "The Successful Story of a Cheerful Girl", she was amazing! Pure charm: funny, silly, a bit annoying but gorgeous. Click and see...

This is LEE JUNG HYUN, and click to see some photos of her. She's known as the "techno warrior" in Korea for dragging proper dance music into their cutepoppy music mainstream. I think she's clearly a very cool artist. She does pop music that fits the rave scene very well, and her album "Magic (To Go to My Star)" is a winner all the way. Everyone's good friend Jason Sparks showed me her CD, I never believed at first that she could be cool but how wrong I was!
BAE DOO-NA. She looks and acts exactly like Eun Jung so she's in. Have a look, she's really nice and deserves to go very far. She's a movie actress these days, but I remember her when she starred in a TV series as a girl with "extra powers" that she used to turn against really obvious looking criminals. Actually it's impossible to not like this girl. Try it...

And this man is AHN JUNG-HWAN, so the man in Korea during the World Cup. Click! This shy footballer became a national icon in KR. Why him over the others? He has long hair, he's handsome, he scores the important goals - the equaliser against USA, the winner against Italy - he does hair product commercials, he's married to Miss Korea, and he's a half decent footballer. Although the chairman of Perugia may disagree, after he scored the Golden Goal against Italy in the World Cup, he bitterly and publically recounted his first impression of Korea's darling boy: "When he arrived, he was like a little lost goat who didn't even have the money to buy a sandwich."
